INTERACT D9250 REVIVAL

At the District Conference the Interact Group for District 9250 was revived at the request of DG Albie Van de Venter. A new group of founder members who were present at the conference were selected to assist Johan and Doulien Snyman as Interact Leaders to give life to the Interact Group in our District.

Interact is a Rotary sponsored program that involves young people in meaningful service projects in their communities while at the same time developing their leadership and skills initiative. Through their service activities, Interactors learn the importance of: developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work and advancing International understanding and goodwill.

This Rotary supported group for youth need to be advertised and promoted in all the areas of our district for young men and women aged 14-18.

DATABASE
We need to build up a database of clubs that are supporting an Interact group and of clubs that would like more information on: HOW TO START AN INTERACT GROUP in my area.
